2019 AEI PPA Best Overall Project Greater Than $100 Million - Northwestern Mutual Tower and Commons - Alvine Engineering

Publicly Acknowledging Outstanding Achievement in Design & Construction

Featured Photo: 2019 Best Overall Project Greater Than $100 Million - Northwestern Mutual Tower and Commons, Alvine Engineering. The systems in the Northwestern Mutual Tower and Commons building work together to provide a symphony of the owner's requirements for redundancy, functionality, reliability, efficiency, maintainability, and value. This integration led to a truly remarkable LEED Gold Building of which Northwestern Mutual, the design and construction team, and the City of Milwaukee are very proud.

The AEI Professional Project Awards (PPA) program is conducted annually and is designed to publicly acknowledge outstanding achievement in design and construction. The program seeks to educate students and professionals through examples that illustrate the application of academic studies to practice, with a focus on the art and science of an integrated approach to architectural engineering.

We invite you to showcase your most exciting projects and support our AEI International Student Design Competition at the same time!
